Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frank Kemper is expert for Wind Engineering and responsible for the boundary layer wind tunnel for civil structures at the RWTH Aachen University. In 2013, he obtained his Ph.D. with the topic “Fatigue Design of prestressed Membrane Structures under gusty Wind Loading”. He teaches Wind Engineering at RWTH Aachen University and has founded the Center for Wind and Earthquake Engineering (CWE) as an international acting research platform together with other experts in 2016. Furthermore he teaches steel and concrete structures at the Zhejiang University of Sciences and Technology in Hangzhou (China). He is academic dean of the Chinese German Institute for Applied Sciences (CDAI) in Hangzhou.
